Awana Club

AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" which was taken from the 2 Timothy 2:15, where it says: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. The goal of AWANA is “…to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.”

Children ages 4 years old through 5th grade meet at the church on Wednesdays at 6:15 pm throughout the school year. After an opening ceremony we spend time in groups to memorize Bible verses and learn about what they mean, play exciting games, learn through a Bible lesson, earn and receive awards and enjoy building friendships.
