1. Who first shared the gospel with you? What do you think prompted them to tell you the good news about Jesus?

2. Read Colossians 3:5-10. Why might it be helpful for us to empathize with spiritually lost people who are still being held captive by these things?

3. Read Romans 10:9-15. Why do you think prayer is so essential to people coming to faith in Jesus? What might be some specific things for which we should pray? (See Romans 9:2, 10:1, and 11:13-14)

4. How might being a loving, welcoming church help people come to faith in Jesus? How might our criticism of the church hinder people from coming to faith? (See John 13:34-35)

5. Why might it be important for us to proclaim the gospel not only with our actions, but also with our words? (See Matthew 5:16 and Romans 10:14)

6. What are some things that encourage you in sharing the gospel, what gives you hope for spiritually lost people? Pray for opportunities to share the gospel with the spiritually lost people in your sphere of influence.
